Turn decline service into $$
If a customer has declined service for their vehicle, offer them an incentive; an extra punch or double points, if they change their mind and have the work done with you in the next few days.

Put together a monthly contest, for example “Loyalty or punch cards ending in an odd number gets 50% off their next oil change on Wednesdays.” Add this number to your dealerships DMS so you know your customer’s card numbers.
Partner up with some local sports teams and put your specials on one side of the reward card and add the sports teams’ game schedule to the other side of the card. Encourage parents and members of the local sports team to show their card and gets an exclusive offer or discount at your store.
Heavy snows on the way? Lots of rain in the forecast? Send out an email blast to your entire database of customers and offer them a special on wiper blades. I.e. FREE set of blades to the first 50 customers that show up and then 50% off everyone else.
Mail a special offer or promotion for your best customers, thanking them for their business. At the same time, include a reward card for them to give to a friend or relative. Word of mouth is the best advertising you can do.
